Meet Dr. Steven Walls
Founder of Golden Hills Family Dental

Dr. Steven Walls brings a blend of expertise, compassion, and adventure to the heart of El Dorado Hills. A proud graduate of Temple University School of Dentistry in Pennsylvania, Dr. Walls went on to complete his residency with the United States Army, where he proudly served for five years. Following his service, he followed his passion for the mountains and made his way west in search of great snow—eventually planting roots and opening his practice in El Dorado Hills in 2001.

Dr. Walls is committed to staying at the forefront of dentistry. He’s an active member of the:

When he’s not creating healthy, confident smiles, Dr. Walls keeps his own grin wide by hitting the slopes, mountain biking, and enjoying all the outdoor adventures Northern California has to offer. Staying active helps him stay grounded—and keeps him from grinding his teeth!

Meet Wendy

With over 25 years of experience working alongside Dr. Steven Walls, Wendy is the heart and soul of Golden Hills Family Dental. As our Business Manager, she’s the friendly force behind the scenes, ensuring everything runs smoothly — from scheduling and billing to patient care and team culture.

 Wendy’s true superpower is helping patients feel completely at ease. Whether welcoming a nervous new visitor or cheering on the team during a busy day, she brings warmth, professionalism, and a fun, upbeat energy to everything she does.

 Outside the office, you’ll likely find her enjoying a sunny walk, watching the ID Channel, recharging in nature, and savoring life’s simple joys.

Wendy also heads up our sleep company, Sound Sleep Solutions.

Jennie is the heart of our front office and the friendly face that welcomes you as soon as you walk through our doors. With years of experience in dental administration, she keeps our schedule running smoothly, handles insurance with finesse, and makes sure every patient feels right at home. Jennie is passionate about creating a fun, supportive environment for both our patients and team.

When she’s not managing the front desk with a smile, Jennie is at home spoiling her beloved cat, Hazel. Whether it's cuddles on the couch or snapping cute photos for Hazel's growing fan base, Jennie is a proud cat mom through and through!

Meet Parisa

Parisa is a gentle and compassionate hygienist who is truly passionate about dental hygiene and helping patients achieve optimal oral health. She’s known for her calming chairside manner, thorough cleanings, and ability to make every visit a positive experience.

Outside the office, Parisa enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband and their adorable cats. She’s also a championship-level cacti gardener (yes, that’s a thing!) and takes pride in her ever-growing desert plant collection. Whether it’s nurturing healthy smiles or spiny succulents, Parisa puts heart into everything she does.

With many years in the dental field, including experience as an RDA, Elizabeth brings both skill and heart to our hygiene team. She’s passionate about oral care and takes pride in helping patients feel confident about their smiles.

Elizabeth is fun, gregarious, and fit right into our quirky little dental family from day one. Her energy is infectious, her laugh is contagious, and her dedication to dentistry is second to none. Whether she’s sharing helpful hygiene tips or swapping stories with patients, Elizabeth makes every visit feel like catching up with an old friend.
